Taking 10 rebuilds this week

Landing page rebuilds

I rebuild your landing page before you pay me anything.

Send a URL. In 48 hours you get a working rebuild — real HTML, hosted, clickable on your phone. If it beats what you have now, it's $149. If it doesn't, we both walk and you keep the screenshots.

Stated plainly

Nobody works for free. Here's how this actually pencils out.

If an offer looks too good, the honest move is to explain the mechanism. So:

Who builds it

AI does the heavy lifting.

I drive it, review every section, and hand-fix the parts it gets wrong. That's why a spec build costs me hours instead of days — and why I can afford to do it before you've paid.

Why free up front

Showing beats pitching.

I could write you a proposal. You'd ignore it. A finished page you can click through closes better than any pitch I could send, so I'd rather just build the thing.

What I get

A portfolio either way.

If you pass, I've still got a build to show the next person — with your brand stripped out. That's the whole trade. No upsell, no retainer, no call.

Start to finish · about 48 hours

Four steps. You're only involved in two.

01

You send a URL

Plus one sentence on who you're trying to reach. That's the entire brief. No questionnaire, no discovery call, no Calendly link.

02

I rebuild it

New structure, new copy, new type and colour. I'm not restyling your existing page — I'm rewriting what it says and reordering what it shows, because that's usually the actual problem.

03

You get a live link

Hosted, responsive, real. Open it on your phone. Show it to a co-founder. Sit on it for a day. There's no timer and I won't chase you.

04

You decide

Yes → $149, and the source files are yours within the hour. No → say "no thanks." That's genuinely the end of it.

Pricing

One number, decided after you've seen the work.

The obvious questions

You're skeptical. Correct instinct.

Is this just AI slop?

AI writes the first pass. Left alone it produces something competent and forgettable — the same centred hero and three feature cards every time. The work is in throwing that away: picking a real point of view, cutting the filler copy, and fixing the spacing by hand. Drag the slider at the top. That's the standard, and you get to judge it before any money changes hands.

Why $149? A real agency charges $5,000.

An agency is billing for a strategist, a designer, a developer, and a project manager who all attend the same call. This is one page, one person, no meetings, and no account management. $149 is what's left when you delete all of that.

What if I take the free version and just don't pay?

Then you've got screenshots and I've got a portfolio piece. I've priced that risk in — it's the cost of doing business this way. Don't overthink it.

Do I have to use your hosting?

No. You get plain HTML and CSS in a folder. It works on Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, S3, or a $4 shared host from 2011. Nothing to install and nothing to compile.

Can you do a full site / app UI / logo?

Not this week. One landing page is the only thing on the menu, and keeping it to that is why the turnaround is 48 hours instead of three weeks.

Who am I actually dealing with?

Colton — I run a small software shop and I'm doing this to prove out a way of selling design work that doesn't start with a sales call. You'll be talking to me directly the entire time, not a queue.

Next step

Send me a URL and one sentence.

That's the whole brief. I'll tell you within a few hours whether I think I can meaningfully beat what you've got — and if I don't think I can, I'll say that instead of taking the work.

Email me the URL

or reply to the thread you found this in — either works.
